Nanao is a slim young woman with long chestnut hair and brown eyes. She is usually seen with her hair tied into buns on either side of her head, usually wearing a white blouse and a dark vest which has a blue design on the front and a dark brown belt around her waist. In the anime, she also wears a blue bowtie and has her sleeves rolled up. She also has dark blue nail polish on both of her fingers.
Personality
Nanao is an incredibly kind and caring person, always ready to help others in need. This was best shown during her time as an Academy student, when she assisted the third division to deal with the rogue shinigami Hollows in their base. She also tends to be very generous, giving Ichigo Kurosaki food in the form of fruit when he is starving and sharing her food with him.
