Quanish the Elder personality type is INFJ, but his blog makes that pretty clear. I’m not sure if he’s in a relationship, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was. I think it suits him. There’s a lot of character in his writing. He’s pretty thorough in his mood, some of the ways of describing things are spot on. He uses a lot of concrete examples, and is kind of blunt with his criticism.
I have to say I really like his writing style. I just wish it was something I could do!
I read this because I wanted to have a better understanding of the aesthetic qualities of writing, and I thought this would be an interesting read. I’m glad I tried it, though! The book had quite a bit of substance. I’m not sure if it was just the quality of the writing, but the writing in itself was interesting. His writing is very poetic at times, and very descriptive. And there were times when you could just see the pictures in your mind, and try to match them up with his words. It’s exactly how I imagine it should be done.
