Michael personality type is INFP, agreeing with the Carl Jung’s INFJ. The only difference between the two is that Carl Jung based his personality types on the functions, whereas the MBTI has combined the functions (Introverted Sensing and Extraverted Feeling) and the four temperaments (sensing, intuition, feeling, and thinking).
Since Carl Jung’s work, he has been criticized for his theories being “unscientific” and “inaccurate”. Personally, I find Carl Jung’s theories to be quite sound, but I think he was a little too rigid in his theories, which made it hard for the average layman to understand or comprehend his theories.
Carl Jung believed that the human mind works like a hologram; in other words, we are not actually separate from each other. We are actually one, and our brains take on different functions to help us cope with life. He believed that each of us experiences a different consciousness that is dependent on our individual experiences. This is why some people are more extroverted and some are more introverted.
