I have always been an introverted person. I love being alone, writing and reading, but I don't like being alone in the company of others. I still feel like a part of me is missing when I can't be alone with my thoughts or books. I'm an introvert by nature and by nurture. I didn't get enough attention when I was young, so as a result, I became a very quiet, reserved person.
I was scared of making mistakes, so I kept quiet, and tried to hide myself from others. A part of me would love to speak out about things, but the other part of me was scared of being judged by others. I never told anyone how much I wanted to be loved and accepted for who I was, even though I knew deep down inside that I did.
