Saturn personality type is ISFP, and because of my whole "Jungian" side, I am very much inclined to believe in the Jungian theory of the "Two Faces of Man", and that the ego and the shadow is not just a black-and-white, good-guys-bad-guys thing, but a more complicated and murky thing that is influenced by the context of what is being experienced. The Saturn-type ISFP is also very much a product of modern times; it is much more associated with the "New Age" movement and its values. So, ISFP does not have a good reputation as a "traditional" type (although I do still believe that the ISFP is an accurate type). However, the fact that your ISFP is in the "backbone" of the government of a country like Germany makes me think that it is an accurate type to use.
Your ISFP does have some good arguments. For one thing, our personality types are not static. They are constantly changing and evolving. Your ISFP may be a very different type from when he was born, and he may turn out to be a very different type from when he retires from his job.
