They have a practical side to them, and they just enjoy making things work the way they want them to work. They are often people who are very quick to find solutions and are very good at building things that work well.
The only problem with ISTPs is that they can get caught up in trying to finish a task instead of being satisfied with the completed project. It’s almost like they were on a mission, because they are focused on how the thing is going to be done. Many times, this can cause problems for ISTPs because they are not good at communicating their needs to others. They want to show others how to do things, but when it comes down to it, ISTPs really don’t want to be bothered with doing anything themselves. They want to do things themselves so that they can get them done and get back to the project they were working on.
