I’d bet that a lot of Moral Guardians are ISTJs, because ISTJs are very good at identifying patterns and spotting patterns that other people don’t see. It’s very common to see an ISTJ identify a pattern in a situation and then try to convince other people that they ought to recognize the pattern too. The problem is that most people aren’t trained to recognize patterns the way that an ISTJ is, so they often miss them.
This leaves the other two types without much of a strategy when it comes to dealing with Moral Guardians. ESFJs are the least likely of the three to feel comfortable criticizing other people, and they’re also the type who tends to be less-well-suited to handling negative emotions of any kind. ISFPs are more likely to feel like they’re not in a position to criticize anybody, since they tend to be sensitive to criticism and sensitive to criticism from others.
