How does it look?
The J-20’s shape is distinctive to begin with. It’s nearly identical to the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bomber in many respects.
The B-2 basically looks like a flying wing with a narrow fuselage section and a large, long empennage on the back end. This design produces a large amount of lift at low speeds, which helps to keep the B-2 supersonic in at high altitudes.
The J-20’s appearance is similar but with a few notable differences. The most obvious ones are the nose and cockpit area.
The cockpit is much larger than most fighters, with large main landing gear doors that swing open from the front of the fuselage.
