Flo personality type is INFP, which stands for Introverted, iNtuitive, Feeling, and Perceptive. This is one of the rarest personality types.
I asked Dr. Jung about the research he did a few years ago that suggests MBTI is wrong.
"Yes, I had done a study of personality types and found that they did not match the MBTI," he said. "But, I don't think my work was wrong. I think the test is useful. It is just that MBTI is not the final word on personality."
MBTI has become very popular in schools, offices and universities. Jung estimates that up to a million people have taken the test in the United States and tens of thousands around the world.
Dr. Jung was very clear on the differences between his test and MBTI. "MBTI is a game of chance in which you are trying to guess what is going on inside the person's head," he said. "As an introvert, I can tell you more about what is going on inside your head than you can tell me." He also thinks the MBTI's focus on two of the four functions (thinking and feeling) can be misleading.
