The trailer also teased a major moment for Clarke, who has been steadily moving away from her former teammates. As to what that may mean for her relationship with Lexa, Miller couldn't be more clear. "It is a breakup, I mean it is a breakup," the actor says. "She has been completely out of touch with the group for some time, and I think Lexa is one of the reasons why."
The pair's relationship was already strained by the end of Season 2, and Miller says that "it gets worse" when Clarke returns to Arkadia.
