This is due to the fact that the INFJ is nothing short of the antithesis of the appearance of a typical female. It's not just in our appearance that we're not what "the average girl" would be, but in our personality as well. The INFJ personality type can be one that is perceived as being very cold and emotionless. This is not true at all, but it can make us seem like we don't have feelings. This can make us come off as being overly serious or standoffish. We are often seen as being distant, not very "emotional," and even "fake."
The INFJ personality type has been known to be seen as cold and unemotional by society. However, I will stand here and say that this is not true at all. In fact, I am a very emotional person.
