I was an ISTJ, and I am extroverted and not as much into the Ni-Ti-Fe axis as an ESFJ would be. I love to talk, but I don't want to talk about myself. I would rather discuss topics that interest others. I am not a very social person, but I do enjoy the company of people I can talk to and make friends with. I don't want to talk about anything that doesn't interest me, and I don't want to be asked personal questions. I don't like to be told what to do, or how to do things. I prefer to figure out things on my own. I would rather ask questions and get answers than give orders.
I also have a strong preference for working alone rather than with a team. Other people can be very distracting, especially if they force me to interact with them in a way that I don't like.
I like to solve problems on my own, and I prefer it when people don't try to solve the problem for me. Introverted feeling (Fi) functions are less focused on problem solving than extraverted thinking (Te).
