Conceptual Solaad
In conceptual Solaad, the shadow is given free will, and the persona takes on a role more like that of the shadow than that of the original personality. The persona may be a separate personality entirely. It takes on the characteristics of the shadow in order to protect itself from the true Solaad. In this form, the Solaad must spend a lot of effort defending itself against its own shadow.
Conceptual Solaad is a form of split personality. It is not as common as it used to be, but it is still seen in some cases.
Not every dark persona is a conceptual Solaad. Conceptual Solaads are usually much more powerful than other dark personas, and often have multiple shadows. They are also usually far more evil than most other dark personas. They have the added benefit of being able to see through the eyes of their shadow in order to estimate the strength of their opponent.
