The INTP is in fact very expressive, but he has a difficult time expressing emotion. He’s not so much repressed as he is “expressive in the wrong way,” says Freeman. “He has a tendency to be too blunt and doesn’t know how to get around people’s feelings.”
Freeman says that an INTP’s lack of emotional expression can be perceived as aloofness or even an inability to be empathetic.
“INTPs are not indifferent to other people,” Freeman says. “They just have trouble expressing themselves, which can be confusing to others because they don’t feel it in their gut.”
This all sounds like the perfect match for a cold, calculating Borg villain.
