He is known for being extremely close to his family members and having a very strong sense of family pride. This is evident in his actions during the end of the series, in which he makes it a priority to protect his family at any cost. For example, after discovering that Sho and Ryo are engaged (as well as Anko, who was more than likely a fake name), he goes so far as to break into the wedding ceremony and threaten Anko to stay away from Sho. This shows how he cares so much about his family that he would go to such extreme lengths to ensure their safety. It is also shown that he cares about his friends, as he helps them out with their problems.
