Simon Hunt personality type is ENTP, and we can see why: Talkative, Enterprising, and Perceptive.
Perhaps the only downside to this book is that it was written in 1970 and has a very 1970s flavor. The author is very focused on expressing the ENTP’s “unique” viewpoint, and this means that he often goes way overboard with his descriptions. For example, there is a lot of breathless language about how “cool” the ENTP is.
For those of you who think that Ortony & McCarley’s theory of eight personality types is too simple (and, as I have said before, I think it is), I strongly recommend this book.
I have a few other thoughts about The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, but I’ll save them for another post.
