I think both of these types can make amazing managers and leaders, but sometimes the internal conflict between their desire to protect and serve and the desire to please and fulfill others can cause them to have a hard time finding their place in the world. While INFJs are very independent people, they are also very driven by the desire to be a part of a community and to help others.

I was always trying to find my way in the world, even though my parents had always told me that I was going to have to follow the rules. In that way, I am very similar to INFJs. INFJs are very independent people, however they are also driven by the desire to be part of a community and to help others. INFJs also like to focus on the inner world of emotions which can make it harder for them to focus on the outer world of reality.
