Teddy (テディ, Teddy) is a young boy who has a habit of making things happen with the help of Luckyman. He encounters the protagonist and his friends numerous times as a child and teenager. He is quite similar to Hayase in personality and looks. Both of them are extremely shy, quiet, and seem to be a little down on their luck. He is also shown to be very intelligent, as he is able to produce the Lucky Ring in a short amount of time. When he was younger, he was always seen with Luckyman, who gave him a Lucky Ring and taught him how to use it. He started off using it as just another toy, but he then began using it to help others (notably his friends). This was an example of how he was very much like Hayase.
In the manga and anime, Teddy is portrayed as being very similar in appearance to Hayase, but his personality and looks are different. However he has the same hobby of collecting Lucky Rings. One notable difference is that Teddy is not shy like Hayase and has no trouble getting along with people.
