Kasumi was a very soft-spoken, gentle and quiet girl who had been raised by her mother since she was very young. She was reluctant to talk about her family, even to the other members of Team Gai. Her mother was a very strict disciplinarian, and as such, Kasumi had been disciplined by her mother as well. Kasumi's mother also taught her how to fight with a bo staff. When Kasumi was a little older, her mother left her and her sisters, and so she was raised by her father. Her father raised her to be strong, and he taught her how to use a bo staff.
