Background
Haruna is the daughter of the main character's long-lost father, who raised her as his own. A few years ago, he revealed his true identity to her and told her the truth, which she was uncomfortable with at first, but they eventually reconciled. A few months after that, he left home, leaving her behind. She was eventually visited by the main character, who revealed that he was her father, and that he had been using her as a scapegoat all along; he was actually the one who had killed her mother, and subsequently framed the main character for it. The main character then revealed that he had already told Haruna the truth about everything, putting her through an emotional turmoil she had never imagined she would have to deal with. This caused her to grow distant from him, but the main character still convinced her to stay with him.
Haruna has a strong sense of justice, and so she is very determined. She works hard on her job as a journalist, but always gives her best even if she doesn't get paid.
