INTP's are very likely to develop their shadow, but they are also all adept at hiding it. This is because the shadow has no strong, conscious will of its own, and thus is easily overlooked by its host. As I explained before, INTPs are the most likely to develop their shadow, which is why this personality type is so prone to antisocial behavior; they feel like they have to prove something, or otherwise they feel like they're not good enough for the people they want.
To make matters worse, INTPs often find it very difficult to talk to people about their problems, and will remain silent out of embarrassment. This is why we see Erik struggling with his emotions and personal issues; he doesn't talk about his problems because he's too ashamed to admit that he's not perfect, and because he's afraid of people thinking he's a freak.
This is something that all INTPs will experience to some degree; it's part of what makes us such a complex and interesting personality type.
