What is the personality type of Gordon Shakespeare? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Gordon Shakespeare from Nativity 2009 and what is the personality traits.
Gordon Shakespeare personality type is ENTP, or the “Mastermind”. Shakespeare is the only ENTP I’ve ever run across who was a famous person, and it is a great opportunity for ENTPs to demonstrate their talents. I’m not sure what Shakespeare’s real-life personality was like, but his writings are full of allusions to the workings of the mind. For example, he talks about an experience of splitting his soul into two. If you read his writings, you will see that every time he uses the word “fool” he is talking about an inferior function. He depicts a lot of detail about the inferior function, and he does so in allusions to other people’s writing. Shakespeare even discusses the inferior function in a hidden allusion to a famous work of fiction, a play called “The Tempest”.
My favorite allusion from Shakespeare is from the play “Hamlet”. In Act 2, Scene 2, Hamlet says:
O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space.
This is a very revealing statement for any ENTP to read.
Gordon Shakespeare (most notably known as Mr. Shakespeare) was the former Head of Music for the private Oakmoor School. He appears in all three Nativity films expect for Nativity Rocks!. He is played by Jason Watkins.
