Arthur Finnerman personality type is ENTP, but I've heard that the ENTP is rare in the military.
Here's the thing: the military is full of plain janes and dullards. My guess is that they wouldn't have been spending so much time around Finnerman if they had been.
The reason I'm guessing this is because ENTPs are more likely to be officers—and officers are an extreme minority in the military.
But the military is not a structure where the type of people who thrive in it would be likely to thrive.
In fact, it's almost the opposite. The military, more than any other institution, is all about type differentiation.
In my own life, I've seen this over and over again. I've always wondered if it's something about my personality that makes me just not fit in with the military.
