Biography
Early life
King Julien was born in Madagascar, the youngest of three sons born to the King and Queen of Madagascar. At a young age, he was forced to join the military, which kept him busy and out of trouble. Once he became a teenager, he took on several responsibilities as a prince, but he didn't want to be treated any differently from the other princes.
When Julien was about fifteen years old, he got into a fight with one of his brothers, who told him that he wasn't good enough to be king, and that Julien should bow to his older brother. He furiously attacked his brother, who had the upper hand at first. After a back and forth battle, Julien was beaten down and knocked unconscious. He woke up during a scuffle between his older brother and another brother. His older brother had his brother pinned down, when King Julien appeared from the crowd and attacked his brother from behind. The other brother then had the upper hand and beat Julien nearly to death.
