With that said, the Furies don’t feel like a part of the Helix Council, more like a separate entity that’s a part of the Helix Council, which is another thing that I don’t quite get. The Furies are the “evil” Tragicomedians, but they don’t seem to have any powers of their own.
That said, the Furies are presented in a very interesting way. They are a group of women who were cursed by the Tragicomedians to do some very specific things. They were forced to become the most feared and hated creatures on Earth. But they did something that was so terrible that the Tragicomedians went and ressurected all of the human dead to become the Furies. They ressurected the dead with the purpose of being tortured, so that these women would have no choice but to kill their one child or have their child be killed.
The Furies are also interesting because they are presented as the villains of several episodes. And the Furies seem to be presented as a group that can be taken seriously.
