Darcy: Well, I think that all the characters are ISTP. They’re all very practical, very logical. I think that there are a lot of ISTPs in the world, I think that they’re underrated people, they’re just not recognized.
Emma: Do you think that this manifests in any way in your writing style?
Darcy: I think so. I think I’m pretty good at getting the ISTP characters to come out in a way that I want them to, and getting them to be real. Even though sometimes they’re not necessarily realistic, they’re still ISTP. They’re still logical, they’re still practical, they’re still practical-minded.
Emma: Is there a particular character trait that you found difficult to write in your books?
Darcy: I don’t know.
