The man behind Alfare is Greg Alfare, who runs a website that promotes many kinds of new age, pseudoscience, and occult ideas. He has been promoting a highly dubious metaphysical system called "Phenomenology of Spirit" since 2003. Phenomenology of Spirit is built on a system of irrationalism, where there is no such thing as "true" beliefs, only "truths." This is not skepticism, this is pure dogmatism and irrationalism. There is no such thing as objective truth. The whole system is built on a set of fallacious arguments and misconceptions. The logic is all over the place, and the conclusions are all over the place, and the claims are all over the place.
Alfare's ideas are not original. There are many manichean psychedelic religions built on the same quasi-gnostic system of thought. The Nemeian cults of Zend-Avesta and Mithraism are two good examples. Alfare's ideas are just as fallacious and misleading as these other religions. They share the same logical and methodological flaws.
