Goldilocks personality type is ESFJ, which is consistent with the economic orientation and, like ESFJs in general, will focus on and enjoy economic and financial matters. They will want to help people and focus on people’s needs. But they are not so keen on being in the limelight, so there may be a tendency to be quiet and blend in.
Keirsey’s Temperament
When it comes to temperament, Isabel Briggs Myers and Peter Myers wrote a book called Gifts Differing, which was written in 1991. In this book they discussed how it is possible to have the same general temperament type but have a different “style.”
They described six styles:
1. The Sensing style is the one that is best described by the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. It’s the style that recognises the importance of the physical, material world and often has a practical bent to it. They value what can be seen and touched over abstract issues.
2. The Intuitive style is the one that recognises the importance of ideas and ideas can be used to make a difference in the world. They tend to be idealistic and focus on their own inner life.
