The boy who later became the protagonist of “Sousei Gakuen no Kimyō na Bōe” was born on December 7, 1989. When he was a child, he was obsessed with baseball. He played the game, watched games, and tried to immerse himself in the atmosphere of a baseball field by playing in the park. His grandfather taught him how to throw a baseball, and he practiced diligently for many years to master the technique.
He loved baseball so much that he did not want to do anything else. Baseball was the only thing that mattered to him. He became a pitcher who was recruited into a high school baseball club. His grandfather continued to teach him how to pitch and he improved his skills, but he kept getting injured.
When he was a second-year high school student, his grandfather died of illness. When he learned of his death, he vowed that he would not lose to another pitcher, and to this day he still keeps that promise.
