Buddy personality type is ENFJ, so I’m not sure why you think that. Anyway, if it was me, I would ask if you could get a discount on the price of a new laptop. If it isn’t too much effort, I would go to the store, ask if they would lower the price and ask if they would knock off some of the price if you buy a few other items.
If you can’t do that, then I would get a slightly used laptop. You can always pay someone to sell you a used laptop. I would just make sure that it is unlocked and it has the SSD hard drive.
