Hasui Heian personality type is INTJ, but his is more like a quieter, less outspoken version of the stereotypical INTJ. He seems more like an INFJ (although he may have some ISTJ in him) than an INTJ.
As this is his first manga, I'm going to take it as a learning experience and not judge the series based on it. If it's good, then great, if not, then that's okay too.
I'm glad the OP doesn't put too much emphasis on the romance aspect of the series. It's a slice of life series, for crying out loud!

And that's why I don't think you should be judging it based on its characters romance at all. You should be judging it based on how well it does in the slice of life genre which is the genre I think it does better than any other manga. The characters are not good for that genre at all and I don't see why you should bother with them. Heck, they're not even good for the genre they're in.
