Luigi (DR69) personality type is ENTP, the "Engineer".... and yet, the only thing they seem to do in the Mario games is run around and jump on enemies. They don't even have to be on the same level, so this personality type has no opportunity to express itself in a very practical way.
Just as in real life, Mario is probably more comfortable playing a guitar or piano than he would be writing computer code. It is doubtful that a person who is this ENTP would be very adept at programming, so it is probably a good thing that the Mario games don't have them.
