What do you do when you're not writing?
I actually really like to read. In my spare time, I'm usually reading. But I also like to watch movies, TV shows, or plays. I also spend a lot of time drawing and playing video games. And I also love talking about my books and my characters with people.
What book would you give to your 16 year old self if you could go back in time?
I'd probably give this book to myself. It was my first book that was published, and it was a terrible first book. But it's mostly me now, and it's still one of my faves.
What has been your favorite moment from the writing of your books?
The most gratifying moment was when I got my first critique from another author. She said that I write really well and that she liked the way that the story flowed and that I had described things really well. She said that she would read the whole book right then and there.
