History
Maia was born in the Underworld when her mother was possessed by a demon. Her father brought her to the mortal world to live with her mother and only return when she was old enough to kill her mother.
When Maia was five years old, the Dark Lord decided to move and split the Underworld into two parts. He made the Amazons and the Underworlds. Maia's mother decided to go with him and they moved to Modern Day New York City. Maia's mother became a celebrity in New York, and then died a few years later. On the eve of her death, Maia went to her mom's room and watched her die.
