Twelve personality type is INFJ, the rarest of all the personality types. INFJ's make up less than 1% of the population. As with all the other personality types, INFJ's can be described in many different ways, but the core of their personality is an extreme inward focus, combined with a desire to be understood and to make a positive difference to the world.
This is the only personality type in which the weak Extravert trait is combined with the strong Introvert trait. INFJ's are always alone... they need time alone to recharge their batteries and to rest after being energized by being present in the world. It's important that they have time to recharge from their Extraverted social interactions because they don't like being drained by such interactions. INFJ's are sensitive folks, and they often worry about how others perceive them. They want to be understood and liked, but it's important for them to be alone in order to recharge from their day.
For INFJ's, relationships are about being understood, valued for who they are, and making a difference in the world. Because of their complex inner lives, INFJ's often struggle with relationships and sometimes need to take a long time to decide when and whom to trust.
