Like most kids growing up, I had my fair share of bullies. But I never took it personally. I knew they were there to push me. I wasn't going to let them do it.
Growing up, I was the class clown. I remember having a debate about whether Tom Sawyer was a true hero or not.
I would take on almost any role in a movie or TV show. I remember being cast as the love interest in a movie called 'Some Kind of Wonderful', by John Hughes. It was a brilliant, but tragic movie. At the time I wasn't [aware] that it was about a kid with Asperger's syndrome.
I did my own stunts as a little kid, and had a couple of childhood injuries that required surgery; one of them was a car accident.
As a teenager, I was a huge fan of the band Guns N' Roses. And I would see Slash and Duff McKagan in concert when they came to town.
I was also a huge fan of the band Nirvana.
