Eric personality type is INFP, which matches the description I mentioned above. This is a very rare type, and I haven't come across anyone with this type in the past 10 years.
My personal opinion is that the charts are a little off and that I'm "over-certified" as to these type descriptions. However, since I've only had one of these types come through my door in the past decade, and my professional experience is limited to a handful of cases, this is a pretty weak argument. A more likely explanation is that my NFP chart is inaccurate. But even if I am over-certified, I've found this to be the case with most NFP types. It's not that I'm over-certified as to their type, it's that the NFP doesn't show up according to what I generally expect.
The reason why I'm making this post is because I've noticed a couple of INFPs who seem to be getting a lot of attention lately. Most recently, we had the opportunity to interview one of those INFPs, Alaina Huffman, who just finished up her first 100 Days of Summer challenge.
