Jacob personality type is ISTP, iNtuitive, Thinking, Sensing. I have a very strong feeling that I am an ISTP; it just seems to fit the pattern. But I’ve never been able to be sure. And I am usually the first one to admit that I have no idea what is going on.
I am also an introvert. I know that introverts can be extroverts too—they just tend to be quieter and more reserved than extroverts. Introverts prefer to spend time alone but can become engaged in groups if they are in the company of people that they like and trust. Introverts are often good listeners and are cautious about speaking or initiating conversation.
When I was a teenager, I didn’t understand that introversion was a personality trait, but I did understand that I was different from my friends in the way that I liked to spend my time alone.
I felt so lonely at times because I just wanted to be with people, but I didn’t enjoy the crowd and didn’t want to be the center of attention.
