I'm an INTP, and thus I tend to be a very introverted person when I'm in private mode. Yet, like all the other introverts I know, I'm an extrovert in public. Just because I'm introverted at home doesn't mean I'm an introvert at work, or around people I don't know well. INTPs are perfectly capable of being extroverts in social situations and out of the house. The "in public" or "out of the house" distinction is a bit of a red herring for INTPs--we're all about socializing and meeting new people deep down.
