Beeb personality type is ESFP, and he is probably the closest to an ESFP I've seen on television. He seems to be mostly an extrovert, with a dash of introvert thrown in for good measure.
This is all assuming that we are talking about the same person. As I said above, I think this is an ENFP whose (very public) life has been turned upside down by the weirdness of his teenage years. The person who plays him here is clearly a very different sort of ENFP.
That said, I think it's worth noting that ENFPs are often described as being "outgoing" versus "insecure". I don't think this is quite right. It is true that many ENFPs are more extroverted than introverted, but I think it would be more accurate to say that they are "outgoing" in the same way as ESFPs. They are outgoing in the sense that they like to be out in the world around others. They want to enjoy the world around them and to see the world through their friends' eyes. They may be more introverted than extroverted, but they are less introverted than extraverted.
