The problem with calling someone “stupid” is that it can be seen as an attack on their intelligence. We also tend to use this word very casually and it’s not always clear that we mean it as a compliment.
I think it’s important for people to be able to distinguish between stupid and unintelligent. This is why I used the word “unintelligent” instead of “stupid.”
