The Apathetic personality type is INTJ, or whatever the abbreviated form of INTJ is. You know the type: the one who's famous for thinking far too much, or the one who's known as the "Mad Genius." Don't you know that they're all smiling and they're all thinking at the same time?
No, they're not.
INTJs are, in fact, very capable of thinking simultaneously. We're just not capable of sharing our thoughts with the world simultaneously.
We're not alone in this. The Extravert and Introvert types share this struggle; Introverts struggle with socializing and with being "out there"; Extraverts struggle with being in their heads and keeping their thoughts to themselves.
But what we struggle with is different, and the results are different.
INTJ is a rare personality type – 1 in 16 million according to the Myers-Briggs, and only 1 in 10,000 according to the INTS web site. But we exist. We're the people who think about everything all the time. We're the ones whose brains are always racing, who never let a problem go unsolved, who race off to solve some problem when we should be sleeping or eating or traveling.
