Veronica Sawyer personality type is INFP, so I'm assuming she is in the same group as me in terms of personality. I have noticed in my life that I tend to appreciate things that are immediate to me, thus I am at my happiest when I'm in the moment. So when something amazing happens to me, I tend to appreciate that moment. However, when something terrible happens to me, I tend to feel that I have no control over the outcome, thus I become depressed.
It's also why I'm not very good at making plans. I'll make one, but only if it's something I know is good for me. When it comes to plans for other people, I usually don't make them because I want to make them for them, not for myself.
I think Veronica tends to do this as well. She doesn't want to make plans on her own because she doesn't want to feel like she is obligated to do them and can't do them. She's afraid of failing and/or letting others down. So she always puts off on making plans for others and tries to make them for herself instead.
This is how we tend to do things. We're kind of lazy.
