Karnstein personality type is INTJ, which is what I think about the majority of the people who want to visit the Tower and find out if they are descended from the Luminous Fairies. I can't help but think that they are just looking for something to be proud of, and a family history that they can be proud of to show their children. If there was a genuine scientific reason behind the whole thing, I'd be all for it. But I think they are just looking for an excuse to believe in something mysterious, and I can't help but think that they will eventually move on to the next paranormal phenomena.

I would like to believe that the Lake of Souls exists, but I don't think it does. There are too many contradictions and inconsistencies with what we know about the story. I think that one of the most important things for any investigation into a legend like this is to ask if, when you read it as a child, did you understand what was really happening? I am certain that, as a child, I didn't. But I can't imagine that adults would be any different.
