Pen² personality type is ISTJ, which means that they are very introverted, very sensing and very responsible. It’s quite a rare personality type in any industry, but I think it’s a great combination to be a UX designer.
To me a good UX designer is one that gets things done, but also does them in the most efficient way. One who can see the whole picture and who can bring the whole team to the same point. The best UX designers are those who have a great understanding of the business and make sure the users have the best experience they can. They are able to solve problems, but also know how to listen to feedback and use it to improve the product.
The ISTJ will find their life easier if they stay with their technical skills and don’t try to stray into more creative work. It’s quite rare to find someone with ISTJ traits in creative fields, but I think this is the right place for them.
