Morgan Lauré Garrett personality type is ESFP, and while I don’t have the benefit of seeing her preferences or her life history, I see one consistent theme. She was not what I would call a “typical” ESFP. Which is to say, she wasn’t a stereotypical ESFP. It took me a few days to realize that what I was seeing was not set in stone but rather a general theme.
ESFPs are demonstrative, outgoing, and social. It’s in their nature. They tend to be fun, enjoy the company of others, and tend to connect with others easily. But they also have a strong sense of individuality and are not at all likely to be boring or predictable. ESFPs have a great deal of energy, but they also typically have a lot of fun with it.
Lauré Garrett is one of the rarest and most remarkable ESFPs I’ve ever had the privilege to know. She was an exceptional historian and a brilliant writer, but she was also an incredible friend. She was not just fun and outgoing, but she was truly passionate about people and felt deeply for the human condition. Her dedication to justice for the most vulnerable was legendary.
