You will not know what their life was like before the therapy began. You will not know what their life is like now that the therapy has ended. You will not know how they feel about the way they are now compared to the way they were before. You will not know what to say to them or how to help them.
You will only be able to give them a few clues about themselves, and even then, you will not know what those clues mean. That is why it is important for you to educate yourself about psychotherapy and personality disorders.
