Cyber y2k personality type is ISTP, which says something about the human need to be self-reliant, while ISTP's need to dominate can lead them to overuse technology. They are not able to plan far in advance and are more likely to jump into something than to sit and deliberate. I don't think this describes the Y2k community at all. Most of us plan for the next year and beyond, and even if we don't, we are busy with our own lives and have no interest in taking up another's time. (Ditto for SPs.) There may be some ISTPs here, but most of us are ESFPs or ESFJs. ISTP is only one of several types that could be called "cyber." You could call us "cyber-catholic," for example. There was a somewhat-overblown article about the Y2k bug in Wired, which I thought was interesting because it showed how much of the Y2k bug is a myth.
