History
She is the daughter of the supervillain known as the Joker, as well as the sister and cousin of Harley Quinn, who she was raised by, and the wife of Batman. She was also the mother of Barbara Gordon, who would later become Batgirl.
During her childhood, she fell in love with a boy named Roger and considered him her true love. However, his father was the Joker's henchman; and after he tried to murder her, she escaped, and that was the last time she ever saw him. As a young woman, she married Bruce Wayne and had a daughter. During an argument with her husband, she turned into a joker-like creature and he left her. However, she soon became pregnant with Barbara and later gave birth to her. After their daughter was born, they moved to New York City, where they lived in the penthouse apartment of Wayne Manor.
As a child, Barbara was afraid of her mother's unpredictable moods and power over plants and animals.
