The Parasite Eaters personality type is INFP, in other words, the “socially aware idealist.” The INFPs I know are incredibly thoughtful and caring people. They often seem more concerned with how other people perceive them than how they truly are. They are great questioners and are always trying to learn new things. They want to be part of the conversations and debates that go on around them, not simply observe them.
This type is usually very open-minded and free-spirited. They don’t have a problem jumping from one social group to another, seeing what each one has to offer them. They tend to befriend people from a variety of backgrounds and learn from their different perspectives. They are very receptive to new ideas and can be very creative in their own right.
The problem arises when these idealists are worn down by the social pressures of their environment. They are not capable of feeling as others do, so they can be viewed as strange and different from the rest of society. It’s important that they learn how to display the characteristics that are most valued in their environment without succumbing to the negative stereotypes society tries to impose on them.
